Radiant ceiling panels
An option for new and retrofit installations
Ceiling heat for new construction
Heat a single room or your entire home and retain the use of all the wall and floor space. Radiant ceiling panels are installed behind sheetrock and provide heat without the need for vents or blowers. Radiant heat, like most electric heating applications is 100 percent efficient, making it an efficient heating option too.
Ceiling heat for retrofit applications
Manufacturers offer radiant ceiling heat panels that can be laid into suspended T-bar ceilings, suspended on ropes or chains, or mounted on the ceiling surface.
Radiant ceiling heat also works well for business applications
Install radiant ceiling heat wherever additional heating is needed to keep employees and customers warm—even in hotels, restaurants, hospitals, or schools.

How it works with our electric service rates
Radiant ceiling heat can be applied to general service electric rates, or if qualified, may be installed as part of a dual fuel, deferred load, or RDC system.
If installed under one of our off-peak rates, you may incur additional costs for meter socket, wiring, and/or an RDC unit. For small installations of one or two rooms, our general service rate may be the most cost-effective rate and will provide the most flexible use of the system.
